Yung Hui (b.1991) is an artist and music producer. Drawing from culture within and along the urban core, his work considers the aesthetics of salvage as interventions within networks of global and state capital. He situates his visuals and sound work as potential cyphers of commodity circulation where indeterminate signals of the cultural imaginary take place, and where they may be provisionally reconstituted towards collective existence along the periphery.

Yung currently resides in the unceded territories of the Musqueum, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations (Vancouver BC, Canada).
